- You can park on the streets. On weekdays, in the daytime it can be very expensive to park on the streets in Budapest, while in the night and on the weekends it is free. You can find the details and the rates here, but always check if you have to pay, and get a ticket if needed, because inspectors are frequently checking them frequently.
- You can book a parking place in one of the parking garages/lots. Parking garages/lots are somewhat cheaper, and all of them are guarded. EZ Car Park offers you 7 downtown parking garages with secure parking places in the 6th and 7th districts. On their website you can book your parking place in advance. You can book a place online in a parking lot at Star Park as well.
- You can leave your car in P+R parking places. P+R parking places are in the outer parts of the city, but they can be approached by public transport easily, they are free or cheap to use, and some of them are guarded. As staying at 7x24 Central means you don’t need a car to explore the city (every must see sight is in a walking distance, and it is cheaper and faster to get around with public transport), you may prefer P+R car parks. This map shows where you can find one.
