Széchenyi thermal bath

Széchenyi, which is one of the biggest bathing complexes in Europe, with 21 pools in- and outside, can be found in the beautiful city park, close to Hősök tere (Heroes Square).
Indoor and outdoor pools with thermal water, outdoor swimming pool, outdoor leisure pool with jacuzzi and whirlpool (all available in the winter too), steam chambers, saunas and much more are waiting for you in Széchenyi.

Not only is this fun, but bathing in the thermal water can help heal joint diseases, arthritis and can support orthopedic and post-accident treatments.

There is a well in the spa where you can have a good glass of this magical water - drinking it can positively effect gastric problems (like overproduction of gastric acid), pelvis, kidney and urine paths issues.

You can find more detailed info about the composition of the water and the therapeutic suggestions on the website of the spa.

You can avoid waiting in the line to get your ticket by buying it in the hostel.

You can easily get there by walking. It takes about 40 minutes - or longer if you walk along Andrássy út (Andrássy Avenue) and stop by the luxury shops and gorgeous buildings on your way there.

Or, you can take the yellow metro line here at Deák tér, and get off right at the entrance of the spa.
