"I need some help with Budapest public transport. What kind of tickets and passes can I buy, and where?"

Please note that because of its central location, if you booked a room with 7x24 Central Hostel, you may not need any other tickets than those you buy at the airport to get to the hostel. Here's some help in case you need tickets or passes anyway.


You can get your tickets from ticket vending machines at many bus/tram stops.
You can also buy them at any metro station and at customer service points of BKK (Centre for Budapest Transport). There is a customer service point at the airport too.
